Friendship ⋅ Service ⋅ Exploration ⋅ Discovery
Adventure Modulesplots and puzzles to plug into your favorite roleplaying gameMy storytelling and roleplaying adventures are suitable for everyone ages 10 and up. While the focus of each adventure is on exploration, discovery, teamwork, and problem-solving, players may encounter creepy situations and mild fantasy violence.
The modules provide plot and puzzle ideas to inspire a busy Game Moderator, while offering plenty of room for creative embellishment! |

Quests of Epic Proportionsinteractive storygames with a "choose your own adventure" formatThe Quests of Epic Proportions are collaborative storygames that offer opportunities for young people to build interpersonal skills such as active listening, disagreeing agreeably, and tolerating frustration.
Materials are FREE for teachers and families who want to support the social-emotional flourishing of their young people! |
Jason leads interactive storytelling and roleplaying experiences in which participants must work together to undertake an epic quest: solving puzzles, finding treasure, outsmarting monsters, and generally saving the day!
Akin to "escape the room" games, these adventure sessions provide excellent opportunities for team-building through creative problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and imaginative play. No prior experience with this style of gaming is required! Energizing, flexible, and dynamic, Jason unlocks the magic and creates opportunities for everybody at his table to experience success. |
About Jason Ermer & the Everflame CollectiveHello! I'm Jason Ermer (he/him). My work is about celebrating the joy of exploration and discovery. I delight in crafting interactive problem-solving experiences to challenge, entertain, and delight an audience.
Everflame Collective is a place for me to share resources that represent my philosophy and approach to adventure gaming. I've been playing and running storytelling games for years, often with young people and newcomers to the hobby. I've grown to value games that (a) don't require a steep learning curve, and (b) make space for a very broad definition of "adventure". That's the kind of thing you'll find on this site!
